Joe Porter, W0MQY, has developed a Pittsburg style PC board to go with the NJQRP bag o' parts Sniffer Kit . "Pittsburg-style" means that the pads and traces are all etched on the board ... NO PADS TO GLUE, NO LAYOUT TO FIGURE OUT! It is all done for you.
Shown below is the Pittsburg-style board for the Sniffer. Note that large pads are present to which your components are soldered, just as you would with glued-on pads. PLUS, note the interconnecting traces, which greatly reduce the need for adding all those discrete wires connecting the pads. What a cool idea this is!
