Joe Everhart, N2CX, was invited by the ARRL this month to join the prestigious group of "A-1 Operators". Ken Newman, N2CQ awarded the certificate to a very surprised N2CX at our July club meeting.

This is to certify that Joseph H. Everhart, N2CX is a member of the A.R.R.L. A-1 Operator club and is authorized to nominate other deserving qualified radio amateurs for membership. Membership in the A-1 Operator Club represents adherence to the several principles of good operating:

(1) Careful keying and good voice operating practice;

(2) Correct procedure;
