Order your ...
Jersey QRP Badges
Thanks to some creative thinking of Dave Ottenberg, WA2DJN and a few others, you'll soon be able to get a clever, colorful and customized badge that proudly proclaims personal patronage and membership in the New Jersey QRP Club.
Similar in size and format to the Atlanticon, Pacificon and NorCal Zombie badges, the New Jersey QRP badges are a distinctive design containing your name, callsign, member number and a clever graphic on a stiff, pastic laminated card stock.
Part of the "customizable" aspect is that you can indicate up to 3 lines of 20 characters containing other information. You could specify, for example, your favorite tag line (like: "More with Less", or "Life is too short for QRO", etc.), or perhaps your signature line from emails (like: "QRP-L # 92345, HW-7/8/9/100/101/300, K2, Sierra, ..."). Send your information along in the mail order or send by email to give us a head-start in working it up for you.
And there's a surprise on the reverse side!!
The badges are available to members for a small price to help offset repro costs and add a few cents to the club coffers in preparation for next year's Atlanticon QRP Forum.
Members can order their Jersey QRP Club badge by sending a check or money order for $3 + $1 for mailing to:
George Heron, N2APB
2419 Feather Mae Ct.
Forest Hill, MD 21050
You can save yourself the mailing charge if you wanted to pick them up in person when we next meet ... like at the Delaware Valley Radio Association hamfest on Sunday Sept 18-19 in Mercer County (where we'll be doing QRP Afield too!), or the following Saturday Sept 25 at the SJRA Hamfest in Mount Holly.
Either way, you'll be able to easily get your special NJQRP badge. We'll be able to show some sample graphics here shortly ... it's guaranteed you'll be proud to wear it!
PS: Thanks to WA2DJN, W2GUM and K2MGM for getting us going on this project!
